This time, I’m not trying to be funny with the title. I mean it.
Recently, a loyal reader told me “you’ve written a book” about Dar here. You won’t believe this, but I hadn’t really thought about it.
I should try to compile this into a memoir…lord knows other parents of autistic children have done more with less. And by that I mean less words, less narrative, less compelling stories. Not lesser kids.
I think they tend to like a big happy ending though? We don’t have that here.
Hustling to publish a book takes a LOT of work. This is something I know well. And for the rest of 2020, I have plans. But I would love to push for this in 2021. Now all I have to do is find a way into someone who’s already published something like this. Easy? Well, not harder than parenting Dar, that’s for sure.
